Agile Developer L3 - DTS Apps Dev

Description:

The Agile Software Engineer develops and sustains complex and diverse legacy and new enterprise software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of very large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Operating in an agile scrum environment, the developer must be able to collaborate and coordinate with direct team members as well as cross functional dependent teams. The candidate must be able to develop wholistic solutions with costs and maintenance in mind. The candidate would need to review and test software components for alignment to the architectural design requirements and document test results. The candidate needs to be able to monitor logs and troubleshoot systems via well documented steps and processes for systems that require 24/7 support. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with AWS tools and services. Must have experience building microservices, API development, Lambda, RDS, Grafana, Promethius, MongoDB, DocumentDB. The candidate should be able to provide specific guidance to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from the system level to individual software components.

  • User Interface and User Experience with enhanced workflows
  • DevSecOps and Automation of CI/CD pipeline
  • Help Desk and 24X7 system call-in and on-call support/maintenance

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Mathematics or in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • 9 years of relevant experience, or 7 years with a Master's degree
  • TS/SCI FSP with CI poly within the last 7 years

Desired Skills:
  • Java, Springboot, Python, AWS Technologies
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph).

Annual Compensation Figures listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location.
